Re: Gemaholic-
what we run into when picking usernames on other sites is
whether or not the name we pick is already being used, that
is why the majority of this forum had to change usernames
on the other site

Honeyhoney wrote: ↑4 years agoI did the search for the site Wordpress.
At first, I looked at the first OFFICIAL SITE
and knew that I did not want to start my own blog.
I backed out of that page and I scrolled
down four pages to ......Create a free website
or blog .....so I looked there and same form
for getting started, email, username and password.
I also DID NOT create my account with the OPTION
of using GOOGLE or APPLE. the fine print says that
if you continue with Google or Apple and don't
already have a WordPress.com account, you are
creating an account and agree to our Terms
of Service.
So, after I entered my email, username and password,
I just pressed that reddish, magenta, dark pink prompt
that says Create Your Account.
Then I was in. I closed the page. opened it back up
and logged on. Then with the search bar entered
GemLoversUnite and the first title to site is 'this is
my first blog.' along with a quote from Oscar Wilde.
a little logo with visit, click there.
Will this be easier on my Apple iPad or the Android iPad?

This is EXACTLY what I did down to seeing the Oscar Wilde quote which is a sample to show us we can post things like that etc.Hollie wrote: ↑4 years agoHoneyhoney wrote: ↑4 years agoI did the search for the site Wordpress.

But I searched for the group name and it came up with nothing. BUT I'm not done with my WP yet so maybe that's why?

Did you create a login for WP? You should be able to find Gem Lovers Unite. You can also go to FB and look for the group by the same name and I can add you there and we can discuss the WPCatticus wrote: ↑4 years agoThis is EXACTLY what I did down to seeing the Oscar Wilde quote which is a sample to show us we can post things like that etc.Hollie wrote: ↑4 years agoHoneyhoney wrote: ↑4 years agoI did the search for the site Wordpress.
